Position Overview:

The Teller is responsible for contributing to the overall success of a Retail Banking Center by ensuring accurate and efficient transaction processing, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining operational discipline. This role may require occasional evening and Saturday hours and temporary work at other banking center locations based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:

• Introduce and refer customers to banking platforms through routine interactions
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and handle routine customer requests
• Complete Comerica's Teller Training Program successfully
• Follow company policies, procedures, regulations, and security protocols
• Document transactions electronically and reconcile at shift end
• Maintain customer confidentiality and resolve basic complaints
• Enhance customer experience based on feedback and guidelines

Marketing Activities:

• Complete daily planning activities
• Act as a digital ambassador to promote digital banking solutions
• Introduce customers to products/services and follow up accordingly

Operational Risk:

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
• Complete necessary compliance training
• Follow risk assessment and mitigation procedures

Partnership:

• Contribute to team collaboration and identify opportunities to add value for customers

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of retail or financial sales experience, or 2 years of U.S. Military service, or 1 year of college
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with personal computers, data entry, or internet search
• Preferred: Cash handling experience and proficiency with computer systems

Additional Details:

Work is primarily in the office, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday mornings. Salary is based on experience.
