Job summary

Hnb-National-Bank in Kearney, MO is seeking a motivated Teller to handle deposits, cash transactions, and endorsements accurately at the branch.

You will balance currency and checks, issue receipts, promote online banking and related services, support new account openings, and maintain accounts with attention to security and customer service, in a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, examine endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts.
• Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Order daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash. Including handling large bags of coins.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift; compare totals with data on screen.
• Promotes and cross-sells banking products and services (online banking, cashier’s checks, trust and investment services).
• Load new accounts and account maintenance in the computer system.
• Remove deposits from, and counts and balances cash in ATMs and night depository.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
