Paycom - ATS in Catlettsburg, KY seeks an entry-level part-time Teller to handle customer transactions face-to-face, process deposits and withdrawals, and ensure accurate cash handling.

You will assist customers with mobile banking questions, explain products, and balance drawers under supervision of the Office Manager. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions by deposits, withdrawals, and cash handling.

• Balance cash drawer, ATM, and vault.
• Scan teller work; process mail deposits, night deposits, and ATM deposits.
• Sell cashier's checks, money orders, and process cash advances.
• Place holds on deposited funds, process stop payments, disputes, etc.
• Accept utility payments; process and review check orders.
• Operate and balance coin machine; lift coin bags.

JOB SUMMARY

Handling customer transactions; receiving and paying out money; answer customer questions; working face to face with the public; additional duties as assigned by management. Employee is responsible for compliance with all rules and related regulations for the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC. Failure to comply with these and other Federal, State and Local Laws and Regulations could be cause for disciplinary action(s) up to and including termination. An entry level person should be able to perform this job reasonably well within three months.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 60% Process customer transactions by receiving checks and cash for deposits and payments. Cashing checks and processing withdrawals.
• 10% Answer customer questions related to mobile/online banking, eStatements, debit cards, credit cards, overdraft protection, etc.
• 7% Balance cash drawer, ATM, and Vault.
• 5% Scan teller work.
• 5% Process mail deposits, night deposits, and ATM deposits.
• 5% Sell Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, and process cash advances.
• 5% Place holds on deposited funds, process stop payments, disputes, etc.
• 1% Accept utility payments.
• 1% Process and review check orders.
• 1% Operate and balance coin machine. Lifting bags of coin.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS: Must be responsible, friendly, courteous, and have good communication skills. Must be able to work well with the public as well as with fellow employees. Tellers must listen carefully to customers' questions and concerns and be able to provide necessary information and solve problems. They must understand various bank products to effectively cross sell. Tellers are responsible for the money assigned to their cash drawer. They must be able to handle this money accurately in addition to keeping it secure.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job requires some sitting, some standing, bending, stretching, and lifting 30 pounds or more numerous times per week. If the teller has vault responsibilities, they would have lifting of coin in the vault.

SALARY

$14 - $18 an hour

SUPERVISOR

Tellers report to the Office Manager of their location.
