Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact with customers, greet customer in a friendly and professional manner.

• Cash checks for customers and non-customers.
• Process loan payments.
• Process change orders and currency exchanges
• Prepare and verify cashier's checks
• Run internal General Ledger transactions as needed
• Redeem savings bonds
• Process night and mail deposits each day
• Balance cash drawers & vault daily with accuracy and minimal errors
• Provide customers with information on additional bank products and services
• Complete Compliance and Security training as needed
• Assist customers with general banking questions and account specific questions; assist with customer service requests as needed
• Perform administrative duties such as answering internal and external phone calls, managing emails, keeping a clean and organized workspace, teller drawer and teller line
• Prepare and Receive Shipments as needed
• Identify transaction mistakes when debits and credits do not balance
• Follow all bank policies and procedures
• Promote an inviting atmosphere for our customers and employees by having a good attitude, professional appearance and being a team player

JOB SUMMARY:

A teller's primary job is to provide excellent service to our customers & process all banking transactions with efficiency and accuracy, while following all bank policies and procedures.
