Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, beneficiaries, staff and others on pharmaceutical aspects of Medi-Cal programs.
• Review, analyze, and monitor drug utilization under Medi-Cal and serve as SME for TARs and PARs.
• Adjudicate Medi-Cal TARs and PARs and manage the fair hearing caseload for the Northern Pharmacy Section.
