Aufgaben

• Operates, monitors, and adjusts water treatment, distribution, and wastewater systems to maintain continuous service.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on water and wastewater infrastructure including lines, valves, hydrants, and pumps.
• Collects samples and runs field tests (chlorine residual, pH, turbidity) for compliance reporting.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures in pumps, generators, and control systems.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies (breaks, overflows, power outages) and restores service promptly.
• Maintains logs, work orders, and asset records; follows safety procedures and uses PPE.
• Seeks state operator certifications as required by the position.
