Job summary

The Christ Hospital seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the TeleSitter program in a part-time daytime role at our Cincinnati, OH campus. You will support patient care under RN delegation and help ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

As a PCA, you will contribute to effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team, while upholding confidentiality and adhering to policy during shift duties.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma required.
• YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 0 - 1 Years of Experience Required.
• LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical tasks assigned by the RN, following delegation guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrate communication, adaptability, teamwork, and accountability in daily activities.
• Ensure patient and unit safety and comfort, documenting according to policy.
• Orient patients and families to the hospital environment and facilitate communication through hospitalization.
