Job description

Veterans Engineering (VE) is seeking a dedicated and board-certified Radiologist to join our remote care team supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This role provides you the opportunity to deliver exceptional care to veterans across the country, all from the comfort of your home. You will play a key part in a multidisciplinary team committed to quality, service, and integrity.

Teleradiology Physician – REMOTE
  • Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
  • Client: VA Augusta Health Care System

  • Status: Full-Time
  • Compensation: $360,000 – $400,000 per year
  • Period of Performance: Base Year + 2 Option Years

Responsibilities Included
  • Interpret a full range of imaging studies: X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound (Nuclear and Mammography optional)
  • Deliver timely and accurate preliminary or final read
  • Communicate critical findings effectively with referring providers
  • Use RIS/PACS and voice dictation systems (training provided)
  • Maintain state licensure and credentialing as required

Full list of clinical tasks available upon request or during interview.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • MD or DO, board certified in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR)
  • Valid medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state highly preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment preferred
  • Proficiency with cloud-based PACS and voice recognition systems
  • BLS is required.
