General Summary

Uses imaging technology and radioactive materials to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.

WellSpan Health is a sophisticated medical community serving the communities of central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. We are seeking a full-time overnight tele-radiologist for our Level 1 Trauma Center at York Hospital. This is a 100% remote reading opportunity.

Position Highlights:

  1. Seeking a board certified radiologist - general diagnostic experience with optional subspecialty training in emergency or body
  2. Great schedule - 7 days on/ 14 days off
  3. Enjoy state of the art equipment which will be installed in your home
  4. Access to an established team of on-site radiologists who pride themselves on professionalism and excellent patient care.
  5. Group enjoys strong administrative, financial and IT support. System wide use of Epic EMR. Active AI program in place.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required
  2. Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Work Experience:

  1. Experience obtained during residency. Required
  2. Significant experience with computed tomography, magnetic imaging, and/or nuclear medicine/positron emission tomography. Required

Licenses:

  1. Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
  2. Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required
  3. Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  1. Board Certified or Board Eligible. Upon Hire Required
  2. Graduate of an accredited Radiology residency. Upon Hire Required
