Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks a BC/BE Telepsychiatrist for a 100% remote position serving diverse Illinois communities. Clinicians will work with a virtual outpatient psychiatry team, provide care across the lifespan, and participate in weekend call as needed.

Illinois licensure is required or obtainable; Epic EMR is used for documentation. The role includes a comprehensive compensation package with a $340,000–$400,000 base salary and additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
• DEA registration to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
• Eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs.
• Maintain malpractice coverage and OSF privileges as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide telepsychiatry assessments and ongoing psychiatric care.
• Collaborate with a virtual outpatient psychiatry team across Illinois.
• Support care for diverse populations, including adolescents and pediatric patients.

Overview

JOB SPECIFICS:

• OSF HealthCare is seeking a BC/BE Telepsychiatrist to join a growing virtual outpatient psychiatry team delivering care to diverse communities across Illinois.
• Practice is 100% remote with virtual providers, virtual patients, and virtual clinic operations
• Clinic hours are Monday-Friday with occassional weekend call as needed
• Ideal candidate will be comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan, including adolescent and pediatric populations.
• Illinois medical licensure required (or ability to obtain)
• Epic EMR

  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
