Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Blacksburg, VA. This position offers a competitive salary of $130,000-$187,000 per year based on 25-35 clinical hours weekly, and requires providers to be licensed in the state of practice.

You will conduct psychiatric assessments, prescribe medications, and adhere to Thriveworks' clinical guidelines, working with a diverse clientele. Benefits include remote medical assistants and a generous 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certification required.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• All clinicians must complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients.
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate with clients on care plans.

Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR
