Job summary
Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Virginia Beach, VA to provide psychiatric assessments and ongoing care via in-person and telemedicine. The position requires PMHNP board certification and a Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.

Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
- Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year in psychiatry required.
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine settings.
- Prescribe medications as needed to reduce mental health symptoms.
- Create and collaborate on individualized care plans with clients.
- Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines and consult with clinic staff.
