Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a capable registered nurse to provide medical management for workers’ compensation cases. You will handle telephonic case management, coordinate treatment, and support return-to-work goals while maintaining clear documentation and meeting quality targets.

The role requires an active RN license and at least 3 years of acute care experience, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and Workers' Compensation exposure desirable.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nursing license in state of practice or CM practice states.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and Workers' Compensation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical management to workers' compensation injured employees via telephonic contact with providers, employers, and claims professionals.
• Manage medical care to return employees to preinjury status and coordinate evaluation, treatment, and counseling.
• Document case observations and communicate status and recommendations; maintain required caseload and quality targets.
