Job summary

Enlyte is seeking a Telephonic Case Manager to join our remote team. You will collaborate with treating physicians, employers, and injured individuals to develop and implement treatment plans that return to work safely and cost-effectively.

This is a full-time, six-month temporary role, fully remote, with preference for candidates in New Jersey but open to nationwide applicants. Requires nursing license and 2 years clinical experience; URAC CM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years clinical practice preferred; workers' compensation experience preferred.
  • Skills: Advocate effectively with physicians, employers, and customers; able to work independently; proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook; strong writing.
  • Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Active New Jersey or Compact Nursing license (RN/LPN) required; URAC CM certification desired.
  • Internet: Reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and competency in case management standards of practice.
  • Advise on treatment plans using knowledge of injuries, medications, comorbidities, and job duties.
  • Interview injured or disabled persons to assess recovery and occupational relevance.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians/providers to tailor treatment plans.
  • Coordinate with employers and physicians to modify job duties for early return to work.
  • Monitor progress and adjust goals based on improvement and treatment effectiveness.
  • Manage workload independently and prioritize cases.
  • Travel in New Jersey may be required for in-person appointments.
  • Prepare status updates for customers and assist in training new staff.

Job Description:

This is a full-time, 6-month temporary position.

This role is fully remote.

Candidates located in New Jersey are preferred; however, applicants may be based anywhere within the United States.

Join our compassionate team and help make a positive difference in an injured person's life. As a Telephonic Case Manager, you will work closely with treating physicians/providers, employers, customers, legal representatives, and the injured/disabled person to create and implement a treatment plan that returns the injured/disabled person back to work appropriately, ensure appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services, achievement of maximum medical recovery and return to an optimal level of work and functioning.

In this role, you will:
  • Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and competency in the application of case management standards of practice.
  • Use advanced knowledge of types of injury, medications, comorbidities, treatment options, treatment alternatives, and knowledge of job duties to advise on a treatment plan.
  • Interview injured or disabled persons to assess overall recovery, including whether injuries or conditions are occupational or non-occupational.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians/providers and utilize available resources to help create and implement treatment plans tailored to an individual patient.
  • Work with employers and physicians to modify job duties where practical to facilitate early return to work.
  • Evaluate and modify case goals based on injured/disabled person's improvement and treatment effectiveness.
  • Independently manage workload, including prioritizing cases and deciding how best to manage cases effectively.
  • Travel:If in New Jersey, may be asked to travel to and attend in-person appointments with injured workers.
  • Complete other duties, such as prepare status updates for submittal to customers, assist in training/orientation of new staff as requested, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associates Degree or bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.

  • Experience: 2 years clinical practice preferred. Workers' compensation-related experience preferred.

  • Skills: Ability to advocate recommendations effectively with physicians/providers, employers, and customers. Ability to work independently. Knowledge of basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook Email. Proficient grammar, sentence structure, and written communication skills.

  • Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Active New Jersey or Compact Nursing license (RN/LPN) required. Must be in good standing.

  • URAC-recognized certification in case management highly desired

  • Internet: Must have reliable internet.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $61,400 to $72,800 annually and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
