Telepharmacy Technician - (Onsite - Store 17223 - Tucson, AZ) - FT

Position Overview

As a Telepharmacy Technician, you will manage daily pharmacy operations under pharmacist oversight from a separate location. Your responsibilities will include ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, managing inventory, and delivering compassionate patient care, all while adhering to SOPs and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs to assist pharmacists in managing patient health
• Oversee secure operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy, including safety and controlled substances
• Perform pharmacy workflow tasks at various workstations
• Handle controlled substance prescriptions, including counting and inventory management
• Provide excellent patient service, demonstrating empathy and care
• Participate in inventory activities and maintain compliance with regulations
• Support and mentor new team members
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as CVS policies
• Support additional health services, such as immunizations, when legally permitted

Qualifications

• Meet state-specific pharmacy practice requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; active enrollment in a program if applicable
• National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
• At least 1 year of full-time pharmacy technician experience; CVS experience preferred

Additional Requirements

• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician (1-3 years)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv)
• Immunization certification
• Experience in retail or healthcare settings

Work Details
