Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a night shift assignment in Rhode Island. You will float to multiple units and work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with four shifts per week.

Requirements include RI or compact license, 12 months of general med-surg with 3 months telemetry in the last 12 months, NIHSS and BLS certifications preferred, flu vaccination, and the ability to float. Local residents within 25 miles are processed as local.

Qualifications

• Rhode Island license or compact license is required for submission.
• Floating to multiple units is required.
• Flu vaccination is required after submission.
• Cannot submit staff who worked in this program in the last 24 months.
• Cannot submit anyone currently working at a facility in this program.

Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Rhode Island license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <25 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Floating Requirements:Traveler will be assigned to a home unit; staffing is assessed every 4 hours, and the traveler may be floated up to 3 times per shift.Per the union contract, travelers float first.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
