Job summary

Trusted Health seeks an experienced travel nurse for a telemtry-focused assignment in Massachusetts. You will work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), float to multiple units, and support adult and geriatric patients with complex conditions. A MA license is required for submission and flu vaccination is mandatory.

This travel role involves 13 weeks of assignment, with local and travel options; candidates living within 50 miles will be treated as local. Labs and exams are part of Orientation.

Responsibilities

Care for adult and geriatric patient population, including A-Fib, Pacemaker infections, CHF, CAD, and post-procedure care
Float to inpatient tele units as needed
Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care during night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Complete required pre-employment modules and upload certifications/documents
Pass Tele and Medication exams during Orientation with prescribed scoring

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.
3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).
This role will require floating to multiple units
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:Preferred Skills/Experience:Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.You will be required to complete a pass/fail Tele exam during Orientation. Passing Score is 80% and you are given 1 attempt to pass. If you do not pass, you will be cancelled from the assignment.You will be required to complete a pass/fail Medication exam during Orientation. Passing Score is 80% and you are given 1 attempt to pass. If you do not pass, you will be cancelled from the assignment.

Unit Details:Adult and geriatric patient population.Patient population includes A-Fib, Pacemaker infections, CHF, CAD, Aortic Stenosis, Chest Pain, NSTEMI, HFrEF, AMS, SIRS, and Dementia with behavior disturbance.The unit handles post-TAVR, TEVR, Watchman, Micras, PCI, loop recorder, and CardioMEMS procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:Every other weekend/every other holiday.

Floating Requirements:May float to other inpatient tele units, if needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
