Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a Night Telemetry assignment in Kansas. This role requires a KS or compact RN license, 12 months Telemetry experience, and the ability to float to multiple units. Travelers work 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend and one holiday per group.

The 16-week travel contract includes pre-employment modules; Epic experience is preferred and exposure to TR bands and cardiac meds is part of patient care.

• Epic experience preferred.

Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Favorite Healthcare Program - University of Kansas.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience. Experience with TR Bands straight from procedure, cardiac drips (mainly Heparin, some Bumex, Lasix, and Cardizem), and the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2-5 years of Telemetry experience preferred.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend required. On-call: none. Based on unit needs, travelers must work one holiday from each group: Thanksgiving Eve or DayChristmas Eve or DayNew Year’s Eve or Day.

Floating Requirements:

Will float to all acute care units.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
