Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. This Telemetry RN role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and involves monitoring patients with telemetry equipment while providing bedside care.

The assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week, and shifts include 12-hour days, nights, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• NIH training may be required prior to assignment.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret readings.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and alert the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
• Maintain mobility and safety for patients; lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
