Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry travel nurse in Omaha, NE. This assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, typically 12-hour day shifts, and travel compensation. Requires 1–2 years in acute care and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Telemetry RNs assess and monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and ECG data, interpret displays, and communicate findings to the healthcare team. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and extended standing.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Telemetry RN specialization.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry equipment and ECG displays.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and notify medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows concerning signs.
