TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg travel nurse to join a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS, and hands-on telemetry monitoring across 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week.

The Telemetry RN will connect patients to monitoring equipment, interpret data, and communicate findings to the care team, ensuring timely interventions and patient safety in a travel staffing context.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Telemetry monitoring equipment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and vital signs.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
