Job summary

TotalMed RN is actively seeking a Telemetry travel nurse for a 12-week assignment in Evanston, IL. The RN will monitor cardiac patients via telemetry, provide bedside care, and document findings during 12-hour night shifts. The travel role requires ability to stand and move, with lifting as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and holds ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications. This position offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and travel benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' acute care nursing experience.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP required.
• Telemetry/telemetry monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and record displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring indicates adverse symptoms.
