Overview

We're looking for Telemetry RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Charlotte, NC. The right RN should have 1‑2 years' recent acute care experience. This role requires connecting patients to telemetry machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram information. Telemetry RNs read and interpret the data to better determine patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Provide basic bedside care.

Physical Requirements

TeleRTC Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. RNs must be able to lift 20 pounds easily; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times. RNs must have vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
