Job Description:

Your job involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care. As a Telemetry Technician, you will monitor and document electrocardiographic patterns, accurately interpret heart rhythms, and report significant changes to the appropriate personnel. You must respond appropriately to emergency situations, document rhythms during code situations, and notify physicians and staff. Additionally, perform clerical and receptionist duties as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Completion of a basic dysrhythmia course with acceptable scores during orientation
  • Annual recertification in basic dysrhythmia with acceptable scores
  • At least 6 months of related work experience
