Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro, CA seeks a Telemetry Technician on a per diem basis. You will work 8-hour variable shifts on Telemetry, observing and documenting patient rhythms and supporting the nursing unit.

This role requires completing a dysrhythmia class within six months and BLS upon hire, with at least six months clerical experience or completion of related training.

Qualifications

• Dysrhythmia class and passes exam within six (6) months of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 6 months of general clerical experience or successful completion of Ward Clerk/Unit Secretary training program.

Responsibilities

• Observe, document, and report patients' cardiac rhythms on Telemetry.
• Perform clerical duties for the nursing unit.
