Qualifications

• Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Recognition Course.

• ECG test must be completed prior to job offer.
• Internally-developed online orientation course participation.
• Periodic competency assessments.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.

Performs cardiac telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia detection through continuous observation of the Central Monitoring system as a primary job responsibility and performs department clerical duties as a collateral responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Recognition Course.
• Coursework/Training Required to either have completed the "Basic Arrythmia" course or have demonstrated experience in rhythm interpretation.
• Coursework/Training Will require applicants to complete ECG test prior to job offer being extended.
• Coursework/Training Will be enrolled in an internally-developed online course as part of orientation.
• Coursework/Training Will have periodic competency assessment.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Coursework/Training Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course.
• 6 months Experience in a hospital environment.
