Select Specialty Hospital in Memphis, TN is hiring a Telemetry Technician for full-time night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am). Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $22.56 per hour, depending on experience.

The role focuses on monitoring patient telemetry, responding to alarms, and performing EKG interpretations underRN supervision. Formación

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date and pass other tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.
• Preferred background as LPN, Licensed Paramedic or RN nursing student with EKG training.
• Education credentials or licensure as required by position.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously monitor alarms and respond promptly to all alarms.
• Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms and artifacts; maintain EKG monitor alarms.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QT intervals, and rhythm.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
