Job summary

Endeavor Health's Telemetry Technician role at Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus is a full-time night position responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry, alerting nursing staff as needed, and performing related clerical duties.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, and ideally an EKG certification, with at least three months of healthcare or monitor tech experience, plus comfort using Philips Monitoring System.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position : Telemetry Technician - Mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit


• Location : Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus - 155 E. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126


• Full Time : 36 hours per week


• Hours : 7pm-7am (4-5 weekends in a 6 week period) and rotating holiday track


• Required Travel : no

What you will do:

Under general supervision, monitors cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances via telemetry equipment. Notifies nursing and/or medical personnel according to established procedure. Performs clerical related duties as necessary.

What you will need:

• Education : High School Diploma or GED




• Preferred Certification :




• EKG Certification




• Experience : Minimum three months of previous healthcare or monitor tech experience.




• Must pass initial and ongoing competencies.




• Unique or Preferred Skills:




• Experience monitoring rhythms of anywhere between 50-70 patients




• Experience with Philips Monitoring System




• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
