Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA, is hiring a Telemetry Technician for full-time night shifts. The MT observes patient monitors, runs telemetry strips, and supports admissions and insurance verification in PCC/SDU units.

Required: Dysrhythmia/EKG training within 90 days, BLS (AHA) on hire, and at least 1 year in a healthcare setting. Join a team focused on high-quality patient care.

• Successful completion of basic Dysrhythmia or Basic EKG class within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Working in a healthcare related setting/field.

Telemetry Technician at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full-time and will work 12-hour, Night shifts.

The Patient Administrative Associate/Monitor Technician (PAA/MT) provides clerical and administrative support, admitting activities, and insurance verification in the PCC/SDU units. In addition, the MT is responsible to observe the monitors, run and measure the telemetry strips, and report significant dysrhythmias to the nurse.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of basic Dysrhythmia or Basic EKG class within 90 days of hire.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Working in a healthcare related setting/field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Successful completion (passed) a Basic Dysrhythmia or Basic EKG class.
