Responsibilities
  1. Perform activities related to telemetry monitoring for patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
  2. Oversee and communicate cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.
  3. Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.
  4. Document irregular rhythms and monitor changes in heartbeat.
  5. Forward changes to nurse and/or physician for analysis and interpretation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer. Accepted certifications include American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
