Job Description :

Your job as a Telemetry Technician involves working in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care for our patients. Your responsibilities include continual observation and documentation of electrocardiographic patterns, accurately identifying, interpreting, and reporting heart rhythms and rates, and notifying appropriate personnel of significant changes. You must respond appropriately to emergency situations, document rhythms during code situations, and notify physicians and staff. Additionally, you will perform skilled clerical and receptionist duties.

Job Requirements :
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Completion of a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientation
  • Completion of an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable score
  • At least 6 months of related work experience
