Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital OKC is seeking a Telemetry Technician in Oklahoma City to monitor patient telemetry, respond to alarms, and interpret EKG rhythms. The role requires completing an EKG class and relevant competencies within 30 days.

Preferred candidates include those with an LPN/RN background or nursing student with EKG training. The position offers full-time, 12-hour night shifts with hourly compensation and benefits such as tuition reimbursement and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Must complete EKG class for Monitor Techs and pass competencies within 30 days of start date.
• Prefer nursing background (LPN/RN) or student with EKG training.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watch monitors and respond to alarms promptly and appropriately.
• Verify identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms and artifacts.
• Maintain EKG monitor alarms and respond to all alarms as needed.
• Interpret EKGs including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTc, ST segment and rhythm.
