Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Successful completion of basic rhythm interpretation course.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Functions as an interdisciplinary team member to meet patient and family care needs.
• Communicates with health care team to assist in the care plan, interventions, and safe environment of care.
• Telemetry monitor technician monitors all patients on telemetry under the direct supervision of the RN.
• Takes responsibility indicative of professional expectations under supervision of a registered nurse and/or provider.
• Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing policies, procedures and standards.
• Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's rhythm and rhythm changes.
