Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois is seeking a part-time telemetry technician to monitor and interpret EKGs on the emergency department telemetry system. The role offers 24 hours per week with 7p-7a shifts, and a pay range of $20.80 to $31.20 per hour.
You will admit/discharge from central monitoring, alert the team to rhythm changes, document EKG strips, and support patient safety and transport as needed. CPR certification and Basic EKG exam are required within 12 weeks of hire.

Continuously monitor and interpret EKGs of patients on telemetry
High School Graduate, or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
