Job summary

Heywood Hospital is seeking a Telemetry RN to provide skilled nursing care for telemetry patients. The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree from an accredited program, MA RN licensure, and ACLS/BLS as required, with experience in med-surge and telemetry preferred.

Qualifications

• Telemetry RN capable of interpreting cardiac rhythm strips.
• 1 year med-surge experience preferred.
• ACLS or BLS certification requirements as specified.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care per standards, policies and procedures.
• Performs patient education and discharge planning.
• Communicates with physicians and documents patient data thoroughly.
• Assesses and responds to chest pain or cardiac-related symptoms.
• Participates in daily multi-disciplinary rounds and continuity of care.
