American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract on a busy acute medsurg/cardiac observation unit. You will read telemetry strips and manage Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, while supporting patients with pre/post cath and various cardiac conditions.

The role requires an active WV or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience. Reading strips and attention to tele monitor data are essential. EB EPIC EMR experience is used daily.

Qualifications

• Active WV or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Must read and interpret telemetry strips
• Experience with set-rate Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
• TR Bands experience is a plus
• Unexpired copy of driver's license required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Telemetry RN on a 13-week nights contract on a high-volume medsurg/cardiac unit.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips and monitor patient status in real time.
• Provide direct patient care including EKGs and drip management.
• Possible float to ICU or stepdown within skillset.
• Ensure unit coverage with 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) and weekend requirements.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and orders.
