Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for the Telemetry Float Pool. The position requires an active NJ RN license (or Multistate with NJ endorsement) and BLS certification. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with at least 1 year of Telemetry/Medical-Surgical hospital experience.

The role is full-time, daytime scheduling, with every other weekend commitment, located in Newark, NJ. Benefits and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of Telemetry/Medical-Surgical hospital experience required

Aufgaben

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act.
• Implement hospital policies, procedures and performance-improvement activities to deliver patient care.
• Assess age-specific needs and determine age-appropriate treatment modalities for patients in assigned unit.
