Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for its Telemetry Unit. This role focuses on direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac monitoring environment, with emphasis on accurate documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The RN should have Illinois licensure, BLS/ACLS (or willingness to obtain), and at least 1 year of telemetry or critical care experience. Night shift differential is offered, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois (or ability to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain on hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to Telemetry Unit patients.
• Monitor vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to cardiac changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
