Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN to join the General Medicine Telemetry team. You will care for medically complex patients, participate in interdisciplinary care, and grow through a supportive leadership and preceptor structure in a patient-centered environment.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior telemetry experience is helpful but not required. A strong emphasis on communication, teamwork, and safe patient care is essential, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN program.
• New graduates encouraged to apply; acute care or telemetry experience beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care and educates on illness, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in patient safety initiatives, quality, and regulatory compliance; engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents care plans with goals and interprofessional collaboration; communicates plan across care continuum.
• Uses nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs per standards of care.
