Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for the Telemetry Float Pool. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting, with emphasis on patient safety and collaborative care.

Night shift positions are available with every other weekend requirements. Candidates must hold an active NJ RN license (or multistate with NJ endorsement) and BLS certification; a BSN is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• NJ RN license or multistate RN with NJ endorsement.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 1+ years Telemetry/Medical-Surgical hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff according to NJ Nurse Practice Act.
• Implement Hospital policies and participate in performance-improvement activities.
• Assess patient age-specific needs and determine appropriate treatment modalities.
