Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks an RN II to provide professional nursing care on a 39-bed Med Surg/Tele unit, caring for adults with telemetry monitoring and a variety of diagnoses.

Minimum qualifications include Massachusetts RN licensure, 12 months to 3 years RN experience, and current BLS; BSN preferred. Per Diem hours offer collaborative, growth-oriented environment within a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• 12 Months - Less than 3 Years RN Experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Department Specific: Certification(s) relevant to the department may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and maintains awareness of performance improvement initiatives.
• Conscientiously evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice and research into clinical practice.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Uses professional nursing judgment to tailor the plan of care based on patient needs.
• Manages own patient assignment by delegating and coordinating with the team.
• Develops and documents a comprehensive discharge plan and patient education.
