Job summary

Montclair Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, seeks a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry Unit. You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with physicians, and educate patients and families.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS, and experience in acute care. Compensation includes benefits and a comprehensive Total Rewards package; shifts are Days, Full Time.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition to physicians.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
