Job summary

Kaleida Health is seeking a Telemetry RN for the Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. This is a full-time, onsite position in the BGMC Observation Unit, with a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. schedule and flexible rotation.

The RN will assess and treat patients, carry out physician orders, and provide education and care coordination while upholding Kaleida policies and standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as RN and American Heart Association BLS required on hire and maintained thereafter.
• Experience in telemetry and acute care settings is preferred.
• Ability to execute physician orders and adhere to regulations and Kaleida policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients' responses to health problems through telemetry monitoring and nursing interventions.
• Execute prescribed regimens, provide teaching and counseling, and ensure safety and quality of care.
• Adhere to Kaleida Health policies and standards of practice; work onsite as assigned.
