Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our patient care team.

You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, conduct risk assessments, provide preventive education, and coordinate care for diverse patient populations using technology to streamline processes. You will collaborate with the team to develop and execute personalized Nursing Plans of Care, orient patients and families, and ensure smooth discharge planning.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ADN degree.
• Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care.
• Develop and update Nursing Plan of Care.
• Coordinate care and educate patients and families.
• Document plans and communicate with the care team.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning.
• Create teaching/discharge plans and ensure patient/family understanding.
