Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis in Utah seeks an RN Clinical Coordinator to support the department director by coordinating unit activities and serving as a clinical nurse resource. You will authorize procedures, assign duties, act as shift charge, and collaborate with physicians and the care team.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality care, mentoring staff, and promoting patient safety while aligning with nursing standards and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• BSN preferred
• RN license to practice in state of employment required
• Nursing specialty certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical and department activities for the unit.
• Serve as a clinical nurse and resource to staff, authorizing work procedures and assigning duties.
• Act as liaison between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate communication.
• Promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
• Provide input on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates.
• Facilitate communication with healthcare teams and patients to meet needs.
• Model ethical, legal, and professional nursing practice.
• Promote patient safety and adherence to nursing standards and state acts.
• Take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity.
