Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA. The role delivers safe patient care using the nursing process across Telemetry units, with a 12-hour shift in a days schedule.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and has experience in acute care settings. BSN is preferred, and ongoing certifications are encouraged to support high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in Telemetry Unit.
• Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
