Job summary

UCI Health in California is seeking a Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in the Telemetry unit. The RN will collaborate with the care team to maintain the plan of care for vulnerable patients.

Requirements include a BSN, California RN license, and current BLS/ACLS. Dysrhythmia recognition and NIHSS within 90 days are expected, with Telemetry experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current California RN license required.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS Certification required.
• Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
• Recent Acute Care Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical Telemetry unit.
• Collaborate with care team to maintain and update the plan of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families in English.
