Job summary

Highmark Health via Allegheny General Hospital seeks a dedicated RN for the 6C Telemetry Unit. You will provide coordinated nursing care for Medical Telemetry and General Medicine patients, with a focus on safe transitions from hospital to home.

The role requires PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC) and CPR certification, along with required background checks. You will work full-time on a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays per policy.

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC) is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment and care planning.
• Provides safe and effective care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Directs and manages patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team from admission to discharge.
• Educates patient and family on medications, aftercare, and transition to home.
