Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial in the United States is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You will perform assessments, monitor patients, and implement care plans within an interdisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes.

The role emphasizes clinical judgment, a patient-first mindset, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital setting. A current TN RN license and CPR are required; BSN and advanced life support certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have ADN or equivalent at hire.
  • TN RN license upon hire.
  • CPR certification upon hire.
  • BSN preferred.
  • ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic and patient monitoring (detection and recognition of acute changes and escalation or concerns/critical results).
  • Administration and monitoring therapeutic interventions and regimens (starting/maintaining IV therapies, administering medications per patient’s rights, preventing falls and skin breakdown and following safety policies).
  • Effective management of rapidly changing situations (identifying, assessing and anticipating needs).
  • Organization and work rule competencies (prioritizing, coordination and meeting multiple patient needs in a timely manner).
  • Helping Role (contribute to a healing environment, provide patient comfort and support for dignity, serve as a patient advocate).
  • Teaching-Coaching Function (assess and explains patient condition and interpretation of illness).
