Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform assessments, skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans within an interdisciplinary team focused on optimal outcomes.

We expect strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset. You will respond to rapid changes, advocate for patients, and contribute to a healing environment. Pay range is $30.76–$45.76 per hour, depending on experience and shift.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Nursing (upon hire)
  • Registered Nurse license (GA) upon hire
  • AHA Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic and patient monitoring (detection and recognition of acute changes and escalation or concerns/critical results).
  • Administration and monitoring of therapeutic interventions and regimens (starting/maintaining intravenous therapies, administering medication per patients’ rights, preventing falls and skin breakdown and following safety policies).
  • Effective management of rapidly changing situations (identifying, assessing and anticipating needs).
  • Organization and work rule competencies (prioritizing, coordination and meeting multiple patient needs in a timely manner).
  • Helping Role (consistently contribute to a healing environment, providing patient comfort and support for human dignity, serving as a patient advocate and building and maintaining a therapeutic environment).
  • Teaching-Coaching Function (assess and evaluate the patient’s readiness and ability to learn, effectively explains a patient’s condition and their interpretation of his or her illness).
